Neons highlight the structure of the ceiling in the VIP area

The international art fair 'Abu Dhabi Art 12' on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi is held in two different buildings: the UAE Pavilion built by Norman Foster and the Manarat Al Saadyiat.
A sequence of plazas connects the two locations creating points of reference for the visitors and easing orientation within the art fair. Depending on the location, the plazas host XL-sculptures, bookshops or visitor lounges for talks and gathering.
The VIP area is located in the loft space of the Mezzanine of the UAE Pavilion. Circular living rooms created by red curtains are placed in the open space. A gradient of neons highlights the dynamic structure of the roof as well as the in between spaces and the bar.
