The new school building completes the prevailing urban pattern of the free standing public buildings with their surrounding public spaces. The simple yet articulated volume creates specific qualities for the recreation areas surrounding the new edifice and establishes new transitions to the residential neighbourhood in the east of the perimeter.
The inside of the school is dominated by a central double height hall acting as a the main distribution and recreation area.
